Does the black vote matter anymore?

Blacks comprise only 12% of the American population.

With all of the controversies surrounding Rev. Wright, the negativity between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's campaigns, Bill Clinton's statements in South Carolina, the effects of Hurricane Katrina on Louisiana and George Bush's response, the acquittal of police officers in the shooting of Sean Bell in NYC, etc.,

It seems that while many blacks are "singing the same old song" about discrimination, the majority white population is claiming that those black voices of dissent are radical views or are "playing the race card"

Do you think politicians care what African Americans think?

Does the black vote matter anymore?
yeah but are blacks like 50% in South carolina and high proportions in other southern states? politicans do care where they vote.
