Is this hillary clinton 35 years of experience??

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her ‘record,’ which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or ‘co-president’ - and her seven years in the Senate. Here is a reminder of what that record includes: -

As FIRST LADY, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Patrick Moynihan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would ‘demonize’ anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn’t even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.) -

Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations, Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood, were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. She then chose Janet Reno. Janet Reno has since been described by Bill himself as ‘my worst mistake.’

- Hillary recommended Lani Guanier for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier’s radical views became known, her name had to be withdrawn. -

Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and William Kennedy for positions in the Justice Department, White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign. -

Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (“Filegate”) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. FBI agent Dennis Sculimbrene confirmed in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing in 1996, both the drug use and Hillary’s involvement in hiring Livingstone. After that, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office, after serving seven presidents for over thirty years

. - In order to open “slots” in the White House for her friends the Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the FBI for ‘gross mismanagement’ and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.

- Another of Hillary’s assumed duties was directing the ‘bimbo eruption squad’ and scandal defense: —— She urged her husband not to settle the PAULA JONES lawsuit

. —— She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs. —— Then they had to settle with Paula Jones after all.

—— And Bill lost his law license for lying to the grand jury —— And Bill was impeached by the House. —— And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice (she avoided it mostly because she repeated, ‘I do not recall,’ ‘I have no recollection,’ and ‘I don’t know’ 56 times under oath).

- Hillary decided to seek election to the Senate in a state she had never lived in. Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support. Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother’s clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.

- Then Hillary left the White House, but later had to return $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork she had stolen. -

In the campaign for the Senate, Hillary played the ‘woman card’ by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on her. - Hillary’s husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the White House, including much of Hillary’s correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.) -

As the junior Senator from New York, Hillary has passed no major legislation. She has deferred to the senior Senator (Schumer) to tend to the needs of New Yorkers, even on the hot issue of medical problems of workers involved in the cleanup of Ground Zero after 9/11.

- Hillary’s ONE NOTABLE VOTE; supporting the plan to invade Iraq, she has since disavowed. With this kind of a background, the value of “experience” is severely over exaggerated. Maybe she should position herself as the candidate who has learned from her mistakes instead."

Is this hillary clinton 35 years of experience??
Hey hey hey, let's not forget she is a successful commodities trader!!!!

She clean up our deficit in a few short months with some sound investing. I mean she even made buys with money she didn't have, isn't that how the government works?
Reply:yes she has enough experence to run the country. And she has her husband Bill (former president)to help her through.
Reply:You've really done your research!
Reply:Rant

Reported.
Reply:Hillary is a whore for votes.

a hypocrite, that doesn't even have a husband that can stay faithful to her. shame shame.

you know she was also a republican...
Reply:No, this is plagiarism, cut and pasted from snopes.com.

Come up with original questions or give credit to your source,
Reply:Sounds like you have a thing for Hillary. You overlooked her best experience. Backing Bill when he was caught abusing so many women and trying to blame the media instead of facing the facts.
Reply:excellent, detailed summary of hillary's "record"

bill was whining about how obama is getting a free ride from the media, but no reporter that i have heard has challenged hillary to explain what in her "35 years experience" qualifies her to be the commander in chief.

i heard one local talk show host ask a hillary supporter who said that experience was the most important factor whether they would then support mccain in nov because he has so much more experience than hillary - that left them speechless! lol
Reply:I think Hillary is the worst of all because she is pledging universal healthcare but her campaign is financed by drug companies!! I'm sure they are all willing to roll over and stop making huge profits once she is president. They won't of course. She shelved universal healthcare as first lady to win her seat in the senate. She would sell Chelsea if it got her the presidency. She won't win the nomination, nor the presidency.
Reply:Question/statement made me fall asleep like a McCain speech.
Reply:LOL! I like this post....She is not as great as everyone thinks...
Reply:And your one misinformed obama supporter. Did you check out obamas bit on youtube.com with his gay prostitute lover Larry Sinclair
Reply:did she asked you to coppy the book for yahoo anwswers?

She is a looser who cant even control her man, how will she stand for America?
Reply:Thank you for bring out her good points.
Reply:she made arkansas' education system one of the worst in the nation.

SHe failed at her first attempt to bring socialism to this country

I would write more bad about her but I am afraid I might suffer a "suicide" like Vince Foster
Reply:Well stated and well researched. Not a bad summary at all. It is really amazing how quickly rather recent history is lost and how easily people will pick up on political claims and blindly accept them.

A+ on your homework!

Reply:You are a liar and a bad one...Just because Obama's record is less impressive than Hillary's record, people are saying false things about her...It's amazing how people have forgotten or have changed what she has done...

But the truth is, this candidate, is the most accurate in economy, in politic, she has worked all her life...And she can prove it during debates.

Prove me that is wrong...And make me laugh with your false dreamer Obama, who has the most liberal record of your senate...Who is the liar, who just spends his time to criticize others people, without never having defended his ideas by voting ?

Just to give you an idea about Hillary Clinton, you can say what you want but not that she has no experience.

She became a Democrat in 1968 while attending Wellesley College. She was active in student politics and was elected student government president, whereupon she advocated the admission of more black students.

In the early 1980's she continued her law practice, as well as service on the board of the Children's Defense Fund. She chaired the Arkansas Education Standards Committee in 1983 and 1984. She served on the boards of TCBY and Wal-Mart. The National Law Journal named her in 1988 and 1991 as one of the top 100 influential lawyers in the country.

As First Lady :

In 1993, President Clinton made health care reform one of the highest priorities of his Administration. He asked the First Lady to chair the Task Force on National Health Care Reform, and she continues to be a leading advocate for improving health care quality and providing health insurance for the uninsured and the underinsured. Her deep commitment to children has led the First Lady to champion an ambitious effort to increase immunizations for preschool-age children, push for an expansion of children's health insurance coverage, advocate for innovative prenatal care, and raise awareness of the impact of tobacco on children.

In 1997, the First Lady, along with the President, hosted two important conferences on children's issues.

The First Lady played a strong role at the White House Conference on Early Childhood Development and Learning.

The First Lady played an important role in legislative reform, and was central to the passage of the Adoption and Safe Family Act of 1997.

The First Lady served as a goodwill ambassador for the United States during her visits abroad. From Europe to Asia, Africa to Latin America, the First Lady taked her message of human rights, health care, and economic empowerment for women across the globe. During her trips, the First Lady advocated for human rights, promoted microcredit as a means to economic self-sufficiency, pushed for equality in education for girls and boys, and spoke of the importance of health care with an emphasis on meeting the critical needs of women and children, including family planning and safe motherhood. She was also a leading voice for democracy building, for women's rights, and for the developing of a voluntary sector in emerging democracies.
