Do you want to know what a Republican says when their party loses ??

Nothing. . .. . . . Nothing at all

I won't BLAME voter fraud, the voting machines, the leaders of the Democratic Party, WILD CONSPIRACY THEORIES, trans fatty oils, Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King, Hillary Clinton, I.D. cards, Oppression, Dead people, The color green, The color Yellow, Crayons, or even Nancy Pelosi ( although it was even difficult to type her name without puking ).

Bottom line. .. . . . .Take your victory and do something progressive and POSITIVE with it.

What can you add to that ? Will you STOP THE HATING ???

Do you want to know what a Republican says when their party loses ??
Bottles. The Republican party had many wins. Not the landslide the Democrats predicted.

They did not win enough power to keep our nation in gridlock for 2 years.

This is a win.
Reply:Well said, amigo, well said! I wondered the same thing, and the only answer I came up with was this:

Republican the morning after big party loss: "Damn! They woke

up and voted!"

Yes, and make all hatred illegal.
Reply:i like your bottom line...although i'd like to point out that many of the actual candidates who lost were very gracious...rick santorum in particular showed a lot of class in defeat...now, let's get together, and get to work! if nothing else, this election has shown that one-party rule has not worked...
Reply:Wow, someone got their mensies today.
Reply:Er.... while I sort of understand your "point", isn't George Allen doing just that right now?
Reply:I hope the Dem's do something with their new found power. Most likely they will attempt a coup d'etat and impeach Bush and Cheney at the same time and make Nancy Pelosi president.
Reply:Sounds like the Republicans are far more good-spirited, and filled with far less hate than you. -RKO-
Reply:We sure won't go into depression and cry about it the way the Democrats did last time.
Reply:Nothing.

Well, it's the way it goes. People obviously wanted change in a number of areas. I hope the Dems can deliver - I voted for them.

If they don't we'll vote them out next time.

By the way congrats for having the guts to show up today. Many of your fellow conservatives are missing I notice.

And to Ruth, nice try portraying it as a GOP win LOL. Is your coffee spiked?
Reply:They should say nothing, they ran on nothing so that is a great response. Maybe now the congress will step up to the plate and make a home run.
Reply:Good show...hope they can do something instead of follow up with vendetta's like a lot of Democrats want. If they do that, nothing will get done.

Virginia was extremely close..

Democrat - 1,170,564

Republican - 1,162,717

So the recount will be the decider. 38000 vote difference looks like a solid victory for Webb though.
Reply:Your right, as a matter of fact, they won bvecause the democratic party purposely chose many centrist individuals as opposed to the real liberal nut jobs represented b people like Nancy P. (God forbid SF values are forced down the rest of the country). The scarist thing for me is if the dems try to eliminate the survellance program which already prevented another diseaster here in NY. They better wake up the the fact the terrorists are not citizens who deserve our rights and freedoms
