Hypothetically speaking, say these two win the Democratic nomination with Obama as Clinton's running mate and the two win the general election. Do you think the Feminists will applaud Clinton's accomplishments while the African American community squaks and throws race cards with Obama taking a backseat to Clinton as her VP?
Clinton/Obama ticket?
Obama cannot/will not win any national election in my opinion simply based on the name similarity between him and Osama. Old people vote in large numbers nationwide, and I blame them for our current president. In fact I seriously believe after age 75, the right to vote should be first cleared by a recognized psychiatrist.
Reply:It's the likely ticket, but I think you're jumping the gun a little on your assumption. I don't think the the African American community will mind as much as you think.
Reply:Clinton's ego is too big to handle Obama as VP. I expect she'll pick Bill Richardson.
Reply:I doubt it. A black vice president would still be a history-making event. As well, a Clinton/Obama victory would be a sign of hope that the damage done by Bush could now slowly be reversed.
Reply:i think the infighting means this ticket is unlikely now but it could have been a killer. surely the republicans have no chance after bush reaching record lows....
Reply:thats interesting that should say that... i've never thought of that.. but is very likely.
Reply:Hate to say this, but, it won't happen. They have too many differences and i truly don't think they can set them aside, but since we are in the HYPOTHETICAL, You would have a pretty good team, but, the in-fighting might just be too much.
Reply:too,,much risk..
Reply:It will not happen as the right will get the vote out so this never happens.
We will unite as never before even for a RINO.
Reply:Quite frankly my dear, I don't give a ****. They won't win, so I don't even want to "pretend".
Reply:Actually the African American community will likely be thrilled at the fact that one of their own is in such a high position and that he may well be next following Hillary when she leaves office in January of 2017.
