Why is the media screaming that Hillary Clinton played the race card against Obama as part of her strategy?

It really bothers me that all of the so-called unbiased anchors on the major news networks and major news magazines (CNN, MSNBC, Newsweek, Time, etc.) are all flailing around about how the Clinton campaign has used race to marginalize Obama. I thought it was Obama's campaign that accused Hillary of being racist when she made that (honest) remark about MLK Jr. and LBJ. Of course, she had to defend herself against those false charges, and as soon as she does, everyone in the media spins it like she was doing all of this as part of a political calculation to paint Obama as simply the Black candidate. I'm so sick of everyone who is in love with Obama turning around and spinning this as the Clintons being devious, when it was Obama's campaign in SC that printed out 4 pages of why the Clintons were racist in response to her remarks in NH. Puhlease! And then you had all those pundits on tv saying that she won NH bc the people there were racist! Why are people giving Obama a free pass?

Why is the media screaming that Hillary Clinton played the race card against Obama as part of her strategy?
Funny, I have various programs of media on, I also listen to the radio, and read newspapers. Don't hear a bit of screaming.

Why should they be unbiased what ever gave you kiddies that idea? They are privately owned and privately financed. They can say what they want. Don't like it? Turn if off. But puhlease stop saying such silly things and making yourself look so immature.
Reply:She did that even in the early start of her campaign. I remember all of the crap she got over it. I'm surprised she went back to it again after all of the flack she got over it the first time.
Reply:Its the same thing they did to Howard Dean. Its the media. I remember hearing from even the smartest democrats I know, how Dean "blew the campaign" because of his "anger". Of course anyone who saw the Dean video knows his speech was NOTHING like the media portrayed it to be. Same thing here. The media says Clinton played the race card and even the smartest of democrats just buy it, without investigating it themselves. --- Clinton commended LBJ's contribution to the civil rights movement; Obama came back and said that Clinton was somehow degrading all the work that MLK did. So you might even say that Obama was the one who played the race card.
Reply:I feel that the Clintons play dirty, it's as simple as that. And whether or not the Clinton's started the race issue, the media has made it a big deal, and why wouldn't they? This is the first African American in US history that actually looks, sounds, and feels like he can do the job as president. All of the pundits worry about are whether or not blacks will align with Obama because he is part black. Who cares! If he has a good mind, and knowledge of what this country needs then he should have the fair chance to run fort he presidency. I personally think the media is very biased against the Clintons because Hillary isn't doing her fighting for herself, Bill is. And to me that shows weakness.
Reply:Thank you Yummy, It seems that you and I are some of the few who see though the media bias against the Clintons . Politic is hard ball but I have not seem the Clintons side do anything that is racist and this is coming from a black man..
Reply:Because Clinton Inc. has and is playing the race card.
Reply:i heard that media is screaming at obama at using the race card to enegerise the black voters in SC
Reply:It's the only disadvantage to being white . . . no matter how careful you are you can never win a race argument. It's just too explosive for reason.
Reply:She did not play the religion card, republican are not going to shy away from that fight.

Reply:Have you not been listening to Bill?

Every time he opens his mouth he is talking about race and gender. He even went as far as saying Obama has the black vote and Hillary has the women vote. The more he says it the more people will buy into it. It's called Clinton Stratagy.
