Will Hillary Clinton get equal time to play gender card, as Obama got to play race card?

Obama just got to talk and talk for about half an hour.

There's a thing called Equal Time , isn't there?

Will Hillary now get to make a "major speech" about how hard it is to be a woman like Obama got to make a 30 minute speech about how hard it is to be black?

Will Hillary Clinton get equal time to play gender card, as Obama got to play race card?
No, she doesn't need to and that would hurt her. Obama is having to defend himself. This is all working for her without her having to say a thing.

New poll:Clinton beats McCain by 51%-46%. Obama leads McCain by 49%-47%.
Reply:I didn't want to hear about race at all during this - I wanted to hear about what they could do for our country - and our high gas prices!!!!!

but - look who had to bring up race - same as always
Reply:I agree, and I think it's a great question you have posted here.
Reply:You hear what you want to hear.

That's not what Obama's speech was about, and he didn't play the race card.

Gretl, those polls are fluctuating wildly every day. You trust them?
Reply:I hope not.
Reply:that woman will have to deal with peace keeping in the race department too. obama spoke for hillary too.if he didnt he would be viewed as non-supportive.
Reply:Why would she need to? We've heard these statements about how hard it is, how we need equal pay, etc, for years %26amp; years. Gloria Steinham, (sp?) and all those gals.
Reply:http://www.realclearpolitics.com/article... is obama's speech written out. And Hilliary is already winning votes because of gender and race.

Reply:No, he can, but she won't be allowed to.
Reply:I missed it, when did Hillary not play the gender card?
Reply:No. People are more worried about being called a racist that being call sexist. Just look at how many sexist jokes are past around our country. Utter a racist word and the world jumps on you. Both are wrong, but unfortunately, CNN discovered in a poll that one is worse than the other.
Reply:Sometimes as a guy myself from south east Asia, I become so surprised to know that 'well-informed' Americans think on race, religion, gender etc regarding their candidates! I heard of "ISSUE" (please Americans, read it "CARD") politicians talk on to convince their voters. But here in my country, including my neighbors, they (the candidates) never 'play cards' on gender, race, religion, family's past forgotten scandals. Yes, they use to shout on the wisdom or strength or corruptions, lack of knowledge in politics, dishonest fellow-members etc.

Anyway, if it's the way there, I think Hillary should get EQUAL time to 'play cards' on whatever she prefer best to down her opponents.
Reply:He didn't talk about how it's hard to be black dumb ***... He talked for both sides... Anyway, probably. The only way they get to play these cards is because the moron voters who just pick which ever person looks more appealing to them, not because they kept up with the Cacuases, Primairys, and/or rallys, but just because race gender, and party. They don't really look at what the persons have to offers. It's depressing the stupid people get to vote. John McCain gets bashed on for age. He will play the Old White Guy card?
Reply:She should do something, I think we need a female president. Who cares what color obama's skin is, he is still a dude and I am sorry to admit that the male gender hasnt done a super awesome job running the country. I do not understand all of this "black oppression" that people are still talking about. If I remember correctly black 'MEN" were allowed voting rights before woman of either color. I just cant figure out why woman didn't rally behind Clinton, I know she isnt the coolest person ever, but I think she is stubborn enough to stand in the face of the senate and congress and get things done. Obama.....he's a yes man and if he's elected we will actually move backwards instead of forwards. What a pitty.
