Why is the press biased against Madam HILLARY CLINTON?

Why is the sex barrier not taken as seriously as the racial one? Obama is seen as unifying by his race, while Clinton is seen as divisive by her sex. She is accused of playing the gender card when citing the Old Boys' Club, while he is seen as unifying by citing civil rights confrontations

Why is the press biased against Madam HILLARY CLINTON?
Do some research for heavens sake. She defended black panthers in the 60s Very reluctant to disclose tax returns. Failed as the spearhead for the health care initiative. She cant win on her own, so she goes negative in her campaign and still trails obama. The press, rightly so, is harsh on her because she claims to have all the answers but provides few to none.
Reply:There is only One candidate to the press. Obama. It's going to be ugly when they decide to eat him.

is it feeding time on Yahoo answers?
Reply:From the media viewpoint, let's look at their two stories as if it were a movie. Obama was born in Hawaii to an immigrant father, raised by his Grandparents, went on to Harvard and the US Senate, and is now a real possibility for becoming President. Before now, the only prospects for President were people born to rich aristocratic families, who were put on a path to presidency since birth. The fact that Obama is so far from that plays well with the message that ANYBODY, from any family, born anywhere can one day be President.

Now let's take a look at Hilary's story. She's done remarkable things, and she is an extremely strong woman who deserves credit for that. But when we look at how she got to where she is today, it's a less inspiring story. Would she have ever been elected to be a US Senator in 2000 were it not for her Clinton name? Why did she stay with Bill after the Lewinski affair? Insiders know it's because she realizes the political clout she reaps from being Mrs. Bill Clinton. What a insult to women everywhere, and a slap in the face to women's rights.

The media likes stories that play well to attract people to watch. Compare the TV ratings of the Inaguration Ceremony broadcast for each candidate. How interested would people be in watching Hillary be sworn in. Now think about how many people would toon in to watch Obama's ceremony: Urban cities across America...Kenyan residents...people in Obama Japan (look it up if you haven't heard the story). The entire world will be tuned in to see what's happening in America, and that in itself is enough to change our standing as a nation. Obama has a greater power to command the attention of the world, and this is why he is much more appealing to the media.
Reply:You can still pick on a female without backlash If you pick on us black you have Al and Jesse to deal with
Reply:The press has its own political agenda. What you say is true only about a section of the press. Other elements of the press are against Obama and others against McCain.
Reply:American press is very honest. They like honest people and are biased against the dishonest and liars.
Reply:Maybe it is because he has not tried to use any of those cards and just stood for what he believes!!!

Whilst Hilary and her team has played the race and religion cards disgracefully and sought to use the gender class for herself!! She is dragging politics out of the gutter and into the sewer!!!

The press are not biased against Hilary - she is doing all the damage herself!!!
