In her own words from her written appeal to superdelegates
"I am in this race for all the women in their nineties who've told me they were born before women could vote, and they want to live to see a woman in the White House. For all the women who are energized for the first time, and voting for the first time. For the little girls - and little boys - whose parents lift them onto their shoulders at our rallies, and whisper in their ears, "See, you can be anything you want to be." As the first woman ever to be in this position, I believe I have a responsibility to them."
Does Clinton push the gender card too much?
absolutely.
she wanted to stomp with the alpha dogs but as soon as she lost, she cried sexism.
her letter is to appeal to the female super delegates.
but women, especially the feminists, should be ashamed of her.
feminists get in there and get the jobs done, ON THEIR OWN. they don't ride the coattails of some man nor do they cry sexism when things don't go their way.
they simply get in there and handle their business. period.
Reply:She will use whatever it takes to win- gender might be to her advantage, just like the notion of fairness in trying to include the votes in Michigan and Florida that were cast for her, despite the fact that she agreed not to count them months before the elections were held in those states. She's trying to win, and in the process hurting the cause of women, and the Democratic Party.
Reply:No she doesn't. She is proving that women can do anything a man can. Women have fought hard to get where they are today. Women were the last to be able to vote. You truly believe that the fact that Obama is Black, isn't brought up all the time? You think he is getting 92% of the Black vote because the Blacks like his platform?
Reply:yea and for any of you who saw the today show, some OLD CHICK, was sayin oboma was being sexist when he brushed off his shoulder after she said somthing, and at depates they were being unfair to her. First of that is no sexism and 2nd of all she was just losing
Reply:Like the staged Iron my shirt scam
Reply:I actually expected her to use it much more than she has. I'm pretty surprised she hasn't pushed it as much as she could have. But she doesn't really have to bring it up too much because her surrogates love to throw that in people's faces.
Reply:She can throw the card down,but I can assure you,it doesn't
count for as much as she thinks it does...
Reply:How is she pushing the gender card? She's proud of being a woman and broke a lot of barriers over the course of her long career.
VOTE HILLARY!
Reply:She has a long way to go to catch up with Obama and his ever present race card.
Reply:Whatever it takes to win, she would do it!
